Named after one of Marin's most picturesque fire trails. The Bolinas Ridge is built to go explore cross-country singletrack and fire trails or as a durable do-it-all bike for a commuter.

The Bolinas Ridge is built around a durable, lightweight 6061 aluminum frame and Marin's size-specific wheel size system. Each frame size is paired with the wheel size that best fits the rider and sets them up for optimal efficiency and power transfer. It's simply logical to pair 29" wheels with larger bikes, and more proportional, better-fitting 27.5" wheels for smaller bikes.

The trickle-down technology of higher-end bikes such as disc brakes is evident on the Bolinas Ridge 1. The advantages of disc brakes can't be understated on a mountain bike. Disc brakes not only improve power but they provide consistent braking in all conditions. Combined with an SR Suntour XCM with 100mm of travel and a 24-speed Shimano Altus/Tourney drivetrain, the Bolinas Ridge is built to handle off-road trails.
